Wanderers Road Race

WANDERERS AC 21, 1 & 10 KM RUN/WALK AND 5KM FUN RUN

 We are holding our annual road race on 30^th August 2015 and as a courtesy would like to advise you of the details, as it may affect access to the streets in your ward. We furthermore attach a route description as annexure A for your ease of reference.

07h00 for 21, 1 and 10km run

07h10 for 10km walk

07h15 for 5km Fun Run

1. The annual Wanderers AC Road Race is an official race on the Central Gauteng Race Calendar and has been approved by the Metro Police and Roads Agency.
2. The race starts in Venus Road between the intersections of North and St Andrews.
3. Runners arrive from 05h00.
4. The last runner/walker will complete the course by 10h00.
5. The number of runners expected is a maximum of 3000.
6. The route runs south across Glenhove and 11^th Avenue towards Killarney Shopping Centre before returning towards the club. The route is held within the suburbs of Birdhaven. Melrose Estate and Houghton Estate and Melrose North.
